These terms govern your use of crownsash.com. They are not the terms on which we supply windows and doors: those are set out in our written quotation and order acknowledgement, which prevail over anything on this website.

1. Who we are

2. This is a trade website

We supply to businesses: installers, contractors, developers, architects and other trade buyers. We do not sell to consumers through this website and we do not install. By making an enquiry you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business.

Because of that, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply to our supply. Business-to-business sales are governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended and by our written terms of supply.

3. Prices shown on this site

Any price on this website, including any figure expressed as “from £399/m²”, is indicative only. It is not an offer capable of acceptance.

Prices depend on size, timber, glazing, ironmongery, finish and quantity. They exclude VAT and exclude installation. A binding price arises only when we issue a written quotation and you accept it in writing.

We may change indicative prices at any time without notice.

4. Lead times shown on this site

Lead times shown on this site are indicative. A binding lead time is confirmed in writing when signed drawings are returned to us and the order is accepted.

5. Drawings and files you upload

You may upload drawings or project files through our enquiry form. By doing so you confirm that you are entitled to share them with us. We use them only to prepare your quotation and, if you order, to manufacture your windows. We handle them as described in our Privacy Policy, linked from the footer.

6. Content on this site

We take care to keep product information, technical details and compliance statements accurate, but specifications change. Nothing on this site is a warranty or a specification for your project. Always work from the drawings and specification issued with your quotation.

Statements about building regulations are our understanding of the position in England. Requirements differ in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and responsibility for compliance on a particular project rests with the person specifying and installing the windows.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, photographs, drawings and the Crown Sash name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view it and print it for the purpose of considering a purchase from us. You may not copy it for any other purpose without our written permission.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on this website, including lost profit, lost business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings. Our liability in relation to any supply of goods is set out in our terms of supply.

9. Availability

We do not promise that this site will always be available or free of errors. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of it without notice.

10. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you use the site.
